Trevor designed these panels with the unique interlocking system which requires NO pins and when the panels are erected, it is impossible for any horse to lift the panels with his hoof or neck to escape. Each panel has a sleeve welded on to the leg of the panel and the leg of the next panel slides down in to the sleeve and so on. Our 4 bar panels weigh a maximum of 10kg per panel and if you had 6 panels erected, this gives a complete weight of 60kg.
Safehorse Panels are manufactured from 20mm galvanised pipe which has a 2mm wall. All of our panels are welded completely and we do not support the spot weld technology used by some as this merely means the welds are only tacked. Our welds are complete and each panel is cleaned and the welds are all treated with galmet to protect against rusting in the future.
We sell 2,3 and 4 bar designs and the specifications for these panels are 1350mm x 1950mm. We do of course also make panels to your specifications, if required. Our panels fit on the side of most brands of horse floats and can also be fitted on to trucks. We sell kits to attach the panels to the side of your float and Trevor can fit these for you if need be.
Safehorse Panels are very popular for Day yards, Round yards, Wash Bays, foals etc. Our panels are ideal for Pony Club as they are light and easy to move on your own, yet very strong for your horses.
We also stock 4 bar panels that are 1750mm x 1950mm and are highly sought by trainers.
